Life Update- A period for us to transform

Hi all, I took a long break from the blog because as you all know life has been crazy. A quarter of the year gone by just like that and it hasn’t started off well. I work in healthcare and I am not going to share anymore on why you need to stay home. I instead, want to stress the importance of all of us to vote and motivate your parents and friends to vote for those in government that believe in science and improvement of the US healthcare system. Vote for those who care about the 98% of those in our nation, not only the top 2%.

For many students in the quarter system, we were all very stressed on top of finals week that we have to move back home/ stay inside. For the rest of the school year, it is all online. Among many other things, I encourage everyone to focus on their mental health with the extra time we have. Last year, I had a period of time during the fall quarter last year I spent mainly at home, not doing much. This time I spent I learned to love myself again, enjoy my own company, pick up hobbies I haven’t done in years, and self-reflect. Despite all the negative things in my life, I have never felt so genuinely happy because happiness starts from within. I describe it as a new chapter of my life for the better. For the whole world, many of us is having this period of time right now. For the whole world, I am hoping this time can allow everyone to learn to be more compassionate human beings, to grow closer to friends and family, to self-reflect, to care for your mental health, and to slow down and give yourself a break from our fast-paced lives.

After we control this pandemic, I hope everyone comes out of the other side renewed, strong, and more motivated to make our precious time on Earth worth it by making it a better place.

Love,

K

P.S. Remember to vote and motivate your parents and friends to vote for those in government that believe in science and improvement of the US healthcare system!! Vote for those who care about the 98% of those in our nation, not only the top 2%. I will be posting everyday for the next week to make up for my hiatus! 💗
